Applications are already rushing to find jobs, but Google said, how so? And in this way, an app named Kormo Jobs emerged in India. But the issue of Kormo is of a slightly different type. It offers a lot of entry-level jobs, but all the listings are verified.
Kormo Jobs?
Kormo Jobs was launched by Google in Bangladesh in 2018. Then it launched in Indonesia in the next year 2019. Last year, Google had also brought Kormo to India as a trial, but then it was a small part of the Google Pay payment app, rather than a separate app. Google Pay has different types of 'spots', including food-seeking apps, travel booking apps, delivery apps, and more. One such job finding service was, which has now become Kormo jobs. Its app has also arrived.
Google says that companies like Dunzo and Zomato had posted nearly 2 million jobs on their job listing service in Google Play. But Google did not say how many people got the job from its platform in a year. Yes, it has said that Bangladesh, Indonesia, and India have got one lakh jobs in total. However, now apart from Google Pay, Kormo is also on the Play Store, so those who do not use Google will also be able to take advantage of it. With this, the competition between Quikr and OLX will increase. But this application is not yet on IOS.
How does it work?
After installing Kormo, you must first select a Google Account. After that, a mobile number has to be added to your profile. This will be the number through which the company people will call you for a job.
Then you will have the option to either add your remaining details, such as where you read, what you read, where you worked, when you worked, etc. Will take out the details. After this, you have to choose what kind of job you want. In the screenshot below, you can see what options are currently available in Kormo. You can select more than one option.
After this, on the home page of Kormo, you will start to see those jobs, which it thinks are right according to your studies, experience, and interest. Different tabs of all the interests you have selected will also be banned, which will make it a little easier for you to find a job. Since all the job listings here are verified, the risk of fraud in the name of the job is also less. Along with this, Kormo keeps on recommending you for sales and marketing courses, which may be useful for you.
